National Capital Outaouais Ski Team (NCO)
The National Capital Outaouais Ski Team is a program jointly designed by the Outaouais Ski Zone and the National Capital Division with the objective to unite top skiers in the Ottawa/Gatineau region. Since 1999, the NCO Ski Team has been a preeminent ski program on the National and Provincial scene, consistently moving athletes on to the Ontario and Quebec provincial ski teams.
You can find more information about the program and athletes here: National Capital Outaouais Ski Team
For the 2021/22 season a new NCO U16 Project has been developed to ensure that U16 athletes in our region have a comprehensive program with all the required on-snow elements to advance into the high performance pathways.
Community Support for NCo
Local bingo players from across our region have been supporting high performance alpine ski racing in the National Capital region for years at the Overbrook Bingo Palace. But charitable gaming has a new face in Ottawa and it’s happening at
Capital Gaming and Entertainment Centre (formerly Overbrook Bingo Palace).
Through charitable gaming, NCD raises over $20,000 a year to help provide uniforms and essential ski equipment to the National Capital Outaouais Ski Team. Please continue to support ski racing in the National Capital by visiting Capital Gaming and Entertainment Centre which is set to open December 17, 2020 with all new cabinet gaming!
